WHEREVER UNCYCLOPEDIA IS BASED, Some Place - Uncyclopedia, a humor wiki made for humorous articles that Wikipedia editors wanted to make but not post on Wikipedia, has swept the ation with it's "funny" antics. Uncyclopedia, being a mock of Wikipedia, has to copy nearly every thing on the site. Wikipedia has articles such as Wikihow and Wikibooks, therefore Uncyclopedia has HowTo and UnBooks. Another branch of Wikipedia, Wikinews, has it's own parody, UnNews.
UnNews, recognized and well-known for it's reliable, truthful, and real-life news, has made hundreds of thousands of UnNews articles, spreading the words of truth over the internet. UnNews even gives away awards such as the Foolitzer Prize and the Emmanuel Goldstein Award of Excellence in the Distribution of Misinformation to the top reporters of the month.
However, evidence has proven that UnNews has been revealign fake news all along, leaving us wondering what credibilty the internet has left. UnNews was a top news source among people in America, they told people what news they heard on UnNews to their friends, who told their friends, who told their friends and so on and so forth. However, UnNews' slogan is " Your source for up to the minute misinformation" which proves that UnNews has been telling lies from the very beginning. Most readers of the UnNews articles were unknowingly reading false information, making their heart stop when the truth was released.
"I'm shocked," says an innocent uncyclopedia user. "I always thought they were a credible and reliable source! Boy, was I wrong!"
UnNews is now regarded as one of the top cover-ups in the history of the internet. People claim they were convinced because of how realistic the articles appeared. So is UnNews a master of diguise? Apparently so. They tircked so many people across the US and obviously encouraged the spreading of misinformation.
UnNews also had all of its awards taken away, including the Top News Spreader of 2006, Most Reliable Source 2006, and the Most Reliable Source 2007 for this "horible act of trickery. UnNews was not embarrassed at all to have these rewards confiscated, in fact, they merely laughed at how long it took sources to discover they spread fake information.
"They mocked us for taking something few people even get the opportunity to get. Shame on their souls." says some Fox News reporter.
So, will UnNews take a huge step and become a reliable news source as they once were thought to be, or will they continue to spread humorous news throughout the world, convincing innocent souls of lies and treachery?
