Boxing promoter Don King is selling tickets to Muhammed Ali’s funeral for $20,000 a seat.
King, 83, who was Ali’s manager during the famous Rumble in the Jungle and Thrilla in Manilla fights, snapped into action after hearing of the legendary boxer’s passing in Arizona.
“He is the greatest, he is the latest, this will be the burial to top ‘em all, the interment before the preferment, the Deceased from the East, laid to rest in the West!” said King.
King, who wore his hair at half mast as a sign of respect, claimed that the funeral would attract the cream of the world’s sports stars, Hollywood actors, and rappers.
“Jack Nicholson will be next to Kanye West who will be next to Denzel Washington who will be next to YOU - for the splendiferous, spectacular price of just $20,000. For the greatest of all time, $20,000! Unbelievable, unbeatable, unrepeatable!
“Until you have seen Muhammed Ali die, you haven’t lived! Only in America!"
