THE HEART OF THE SUN -- Congratulations and Mazal-Tov to A Saucerful of Secrets, Pink Floyd's second album, for turning 50 today. Also, Joe Jackson, the worst father in the history of mankind, has died just 2 days ago. Jackson was the father of the great late Michael Jackson, who is still 50 years old, thanks to the genius fatherhood of Joe Jackson. A Saucerful of Secrets is the only Pink Floyd album featuring all 5 members, which probably would make it their best album. And the best album by any band, ever. I recommend to track down Salem's cover of "Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun", it is just majestic. In fact, almost every cover of a non-metal tune done by a metal band, is better than the original. Maybe except "Gimme More" by Britney Spears, which was covered by Machinae Supremacy. Even Chris Cornell has somehow managed to make Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" sound better.
I tell you, I never even listened to A Saucerful of Secrets. Not seriously. But I'm still sure it's the best album ever, just as I'm sure JJ is the worst fucking father in history. It is just too fucking obvious.
I guess I just wanted to say, RIP Vinnie Paul Abbott. Nothing else really matters.
