Hey y'all. I put an article up for pee review. I waited. I watched as numerous other articles put up after mine got reviewed before. I waited. I reviewed a couple of other articles myself. I waited. And waited. Two weeks after my article was submitted, someone took pity and got round to reviewing it. I got an ok score (30) with plenty of senesible reccomendations to improve it hugely. I had also been ill and bed bound for 3 days. I was much the same for another two days, certainly not able to add significantly to the article. I had an application for the fire-service to complete (a hugely competetive field...) I was, in short, in no position to make the changes neccesary. I returned to the article four days after it was reviewed, to find it deleted. I was/am less than amused...

Anyway, moan over. Perhaps after an articlehas been pee reviwed, ICU tags should be updated to give people another week? Step13 12:54, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

This is why there is Template:PeeReview.

This article is incomplete, but help is on the way. Please don't put it up for VFD or QVFD or slap any other maintenance templates on it until the cabal cavalry comes.

Also don’t even think about slapping an ICU on it.

Help this page by leaving comments for its author on its talk page or on the article's entry in Pee Review.

NO admin in their right minds will delete the page with this banner on it. --SPY Administrator (Complain|I rock|In memoriam) HMRFRA Bluegarrisoncapsig.png Sucrose b.gif WH 12:56, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

I said it was deleted 4 days AFTER the pee review, when I had every intention of returning to it. I think there should be a "post-review tag", if an article has already been icu'd (mine was, due to short length, hence my need for a pee-review...) Step13 14.10, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

You could always tag it with {{Template:Construction}}. That gets you a 7-day stay of execution. Oh, and if you know the link of the page that was deleted, you could find the admin that deleted it and ask them on their talk page to restore it for you. - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon Baloon.gif(Tick Tock) (Contribs) 19:53, Oct 26
Thanks. have done as you suggested and asked the admin. I was sort of aware of the construction tag thing, but for whatever reason didnt use it on that page. I still think my suggestion isn't a bad one... Step13 21:57, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
