I am aware that a member of our school has added a page to this website titled 'Bramhall High School'. The hyperlink for this page is 'www.uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Bramhall_High_School'. I would appreciate it if an admin were to delete this page, and to prevent it from occuring again, the history of the page?

Thank You

Yours Sincerely,

Matt Redfern

Dear sir
Might I inquire as to why you would like to see Bramhall High School deleted from Uncyclopedia? This is after all a parody site. Our content is ment to be humourous and do not necesarrily reflect facts. And we do have policies for vanity pages, if you must know. If you can point out that the article in question does not conform to these rules, I shall personally delete the page. I shall, however, not prevent it from being recreated yet. I shall give its authors a chance to see the errors of their ways.
Also, please do not vandalise pages you disagree with. This will get you banned (and not, in fact, :the person who "brings the page back").
Yours more sincerely,
~ sin($) tan() 09:04, 6 April 2006 (PDT)
The page that I am refering to includes images of our staff, as well as gives the names of the staff in question. Your vanity policy states that you can only use the last letter of the surnames, and you can include no images. It also attempts to bully students.
Could you please delete this page, as it is insulting to many people.
Thank you
Matt Redfern
Done and done. And for the record, it may include images... Just not any of people.
I will be keeping an eye on the article-space, and shall refer to this forum-entry on its discussion page. If it gets recreated and continues to violate our policies, measures shall be taken.
Have a good one! --~ sin($) tan() 16:28, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your time!
Many Thanks,
Matt Redfern
As one of the two main editors of this page, I would like to ask why on earth it has been deleted, and who used the name of my fellow editor to get it deleted?
Cheers,
Mr. T
Because, like whoever it is illustrated, it did break with our vanity policies. You should check up on it sometime. I'm allowing you to try again, only "draw within the lines", ok? Thanks. --~ sin($) tan() 19:29, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
I thought the vanity policy was an 'ignorable policy'? I've reset it up on http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Bramhall_High. If there is anything else which doesn't obey the vanity policy, I will change it.
Ignorable Policies are not actually ignorable, that is a joke (sometimes). --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 17:09, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

On a further note, the original article passed 6 of the 7 key things on the vanity policy page. The only debatable thing is whether any moderators had heard of it.

Spookily I've heard of Bramhall High School (I think I may actualy know some ex-students as well) - assuming it's the one in stockport :-)--Maj Sir Elvis KUN FIC MDA VFH Bur. CM and Bar UGM F@H (Petition) 21:27, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Yes it is the one in Stockport.

By the way, why has this been deleted?

Recently we discovered, by way of a media report, that there have been some pretty major policy violations occuring on our secondary school pages. As a reaction we have suspended nearly all such pages so that we can review them, and so that we can review our own policies. It seems quite likely that pages about high schools will not be allowed from here on. If you want, you can contact me on my talk page and request that the page be restored and moved to your userpage so that you can snag a copy of it. It does look like you have played within the rules, so I'll see what I can do for you. ---Quill.gifRev. Isra (talk) 20:57, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for that. I believe my co-editor saved a copy of it, so it shouldn't be a problem.

For the record, I still find it difficult to swallow that Uncyclopedia is really a place where serious bullying occurs. Maybe I'm just that naive. Also, I don't believe it grounds within itself for deletion of an article. Any words that could be considered personally offensive would fall under vanity/slander, and would be grounds for deletion on their own, without this "bullying" nonsense. Anyone who calls this stuff 'serious bullying' has never been to the internet. I prefer the term 'stupid trolls who ought to be shot, and honestly don't blame us as almost every website suffers from dumbasses like these'. --User:Nintendorulez 23:40, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
I'm confused. Are you saying that those who created this page are 'stupid trolls who ought to be shot, and honestly don't blame us as almost every website suffers from dumbasses like these'?
Both those who make such pages, and those who take personal offense to them. --User:Nintendorulez 15:08, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
