On 13th August, 2019, due to a userpage link on the article Pope Francis created by me, I was warned and threatened to be banned by User:Aimsplode. I tried to appeal to admins but was repeated insulted, threatened by Aimsplode, assisted by User: alvgjerd. I demand an investigation by the community and proper judgement. Based on my PMs with the two users-admins I will not request any punitive actions (deopping etc.) considering their previous help. Here is my demands:

  • Investigation.
  • Whether linking userpage is an offence and if yes please specify it on the page of ban-rules.
  • Set restrain to 'unlimited' authorities of admins.
  • A formal apology in compensation of the negative effects.

Thanks for the community and the support you have given me.

There're the pics as evidence:

  • I 100% agree that this constitutes egregious administrative abuse, and the fact that Aimpslode deleted this forum one sight without allowing the community to discuss this matter is extremely worrying. -- The Zombiebaron 05:07, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
  • Silver, your edit to the Pope Francis article was reverted by Leverage, not me. You were then warned about repeating the offense, and were not originally threatened with a ban. However, following this warning, you began engaging in hostile behavior towards me, which you even nicely documented in one of your Discord screenshots. Following more hostility, you were then warned that should you ignore our messages about not adding more userspace links to content articles, you would be banned. Indeed, this remains the case, now that you are formally warned for the second time. Additionally, I would like to apologize for deleting this forum, as I intended to handle the matter on the server or in Miniluv, but found that I had no idea how to move it to Miniluv. Either way, it is restored, and that is on me.

Supplementary Evidence and Response

A tone of banning threat
It's a counter-hostility

I was not aggressive till Aimsplode arrogantly refused to explain the basics of this warning. Please not that the first aggression sign 'you asshole...' was somewhat passive in a joking tone: Aimsplode is a psychiatrist, not a lawyer after all. However, later it escalated in exchanges of grudges, still without any explanation of the basics of his action ('The pre-existing rule is we have unlimited authority to maintain Uncyclopedic standards.') I take my responsibilities in this back-and-forth quarrel, but it doesn't qualify a reason to ban me (site/discord). Please judge yourself if Aimsplode's explanations are creditable:

  • 'you were then warned that should you ignore our messages about not adding more userspace links to content articles, you would be banned.' Was it his initial intention or an arbitrary retaliation?
  • '...I would like to apologize for deleting this forum, as I intended to handle the matter on the server or in Miniluv...' Must he delete it if he has no way to move it? And why must he destroy those pics I submitted as evidence. (see huff log)
  • 'Either way, it is restored, and that is on me.' There was an intervention from User: Zombiebaron

From the beginning, you have been adamant that I am somehow abusing my authority as admin in enforcing good Uncyclopedic standards, which includes banning users who break the rules - all because I jokingly mentioned the "rules of Aimsplode." This is a comedy wiki, and things are rarely taken seriously. My comment is obviously a joke, a point you very much missed. You went on to claim I had no authority to ban users for what you did - even going as far as posting UN:BAN demanding where exactly I somehow received my exact authority to ban you. As was pointed out to you, there is a specific provision in that very chart which states that admins can ban for any reason outside of the specific reasons. Additionally, the chart also lists a clause for "insubordination" - which I have never even seen used. In this case, if you were to go and add unfunny and irrelevant userspace links to content articles, directly against not just my, but other admins' instructions not to, you would be at risk for being banned for, hilariously, insubordination. You also now claim that calling me "an asshole" and a "sick authoritarian" are somehow not aggressive, but my responses to you are. No matter how many screencaps of our server you post, it will not change the reality that your argument is delusional, including where you say I am a psychiatrist (???). Lastly, you now claim that Zombiebaron resurrected this page and your images, despite the log clearly showing that it was me. Please stop this deluded nonsense. โ†’AimsplodeL A B O R A T O R I E S 06:38 13 August 2019
I don't really have much to say, but my nick is mentioned here, so probably I ought to write something on that.
I really thought it was obvious that links to userpages mustn't be put in articles, for example in Undictionary. It is if seen from my perspective, as I edited on other wikis for years. If you didn't know that aforementioned non-written rule, here we go, now you can put it into practice and stop being dramatic over things. Plus, posting screenshots where you call him an 'asshole' or a 'sick authoritarian' does not make things any better, and is only proof that you do deserve a ban. You don't even have respect for him. At least you could pretend you do. This is pathetic and sad because he's done for the site more than others, and isn't here for vandalism, but to keep it all in order. And if you still need an actual reason taken from UN:BAN, okay, pick one of the following ones: insubordination, vandalism (minor) or anything else. And finally, here's some good advice from your lovely duck: read and accept policies before registering your account, no matter where. From what I see, it seems you didn't do that before joining Uncyc, but really, this is not Aim's, nor any of the admins' problem. Alvgjerd the duck (quack quack) 12:35:35, Aug 13, 2019 (CEST)
+, I forgot to say, I don't see any abuse coming from Aim. He's an admin, so he's basically authorized to ban users, as well as I am or anyone else is. Alvgjerd the duck (quack quack) 12:47:27, Aug 13, 2019 (CEST)

Additional Response

There's no need to check in the discord server that how many times we (including user talk:Alvgjerd)use 'asshole', 'dumbass'/'retarded',(Aimsplode's comments on me), 'f***ing' or other words to tease or to express frustration. If that verifies a ban, we all deserve. Besides, if an in-joke reference of Aimsplode's self-declared infallibility is labelled 'vandalism' (I thought he loved the nickname 'pope'. Pls check discord records.) and argument with admins about incriminating issues 'insubordination', I suggest all who claim it learn to write simplified Chinese, Korean (North) or Russian. Beside, Aimsplode made pages including ZB and click for yourselves.

I see what you're trying to do here. You seem to be pretty biased, and in this case, if you want to have any of our admins' back, just don't call anyone of us 'sick' or 'assholes' in problematic situations. Most of the time those 'insults' are thrown jokingly, and here's another point you miss. In your case, it was just rude and it showed your lack of respect. He may love the nickname 'pope', but still it's not a reason to put a user link in an article. And I don't think that his infallibility is self-declared, because, in fact, he's always right. The thing is, it's more like one of Uncyclopedia's inside jokes, and another reason not to have put a link to his userpage is that our readers may not know why such a reference was put in that article, which, I guess, you did not consider. My special regards to our teen angel. Itโ€™s not forged.
I donโ€™t need to remind you of what you have said in a fight with someone months ago

Besides, I dare to admit it coz I have the narcissism of Japanese legal system of not hiding the truth. I defy you to do the same.
Wait. I see this forum is getting a wrong lane, and I see that the main purpose has become something else. We're not discussing anymore about your behavior and that you put a link to Aim's userpage. It's like you're trying to diminish your fault and expose as many people as possible. That makes no sense. Alvgjerd the duck (quack quack) 17:39:00, Aug 13, 2019 (CEST)
