Forum:Adding tags and stuff
Don't Panic!! But I have a few ideas...
1. We should treat adding the {{fix}} and possibly {{expand}} tags to articles in the same way we handle VFD nominations. Meaning that we should always do a very thorough search through the page history to find the best version, and then revert to it. After doing that it would then be OK to add the tag.
2. (sysops only). If you added the tag, you probably should not be the one to delete the article. Let someone else do that. That way we can be sure that atleast 2 pairs of eyes get cast over the article before it is deleted. It's not like we have a shortage of sysops to delete articles at the moment.
I'm sure some of us do this already, but others (including myself) sometimes don't and possibly we all should. What do ya reckon? MrN 12:21, Feb 20

We could go back to ICU, and if older use VFD. I mean obviously if it's really crap (ICU) and about 10 ten days then put a Fix tag on it? (Cleanup etc would then be more advisory as they were before)--Sycamore (Talk) 19:38, February 20, 2012 (UTC)
