So... I thankfully don't live in the USA and don't really have to bear with it at the moment; but I've heard that since that new president of yours took over, things aren't looking really pretty... and, if I remember correctly, this website -both English and its many other languages- has its servers on the USA... have you guys thought of moving the servers to somewhere else where things are looking prettier at the moment? like, idk, Canada or Australia... if that's possible? πππDaniPine3 (talk)πππ 23:47, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
- do you seriously think trump is going to ban uncyclopedia or something? after the past
812 years Iβve learned that it doesnβt freaking matter who's in office. OαΓΆαααα

- 1: it matters a lot, actually. 2: not directly, but he's definitely gonna push something that forbids the spreading of "false information" at some point. I don't know what that will include or when that will happen, but i assume we have at least one page that'd fall under that category. 00:18, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- i mean, technically speaking, this whole website is "false information". πππDaniPine3 (talk)πππ 00:21, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- Be honest. Do you really think Trump is going to care about an obscure wiki long past it's golden age?Terminate the Colonel's command. (talk) 00:28, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- No, but people who agree with his definition of "false information" or people who don't like us would probably try to use a law like that to take down at least one page (and i suspect it'll have something to with us trans people because of course it will). If that happens we're definitely screwed. 00:35, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- You live in fucking Norway of all places. That shit is the most liberal country in the whole European continent.Terminate the Colonel's command. (talk) 00:37, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- she's not speaking about herself, but rather the wiki as a whole, which is in the USA. πππDaniPine3 (talk)πππ 00:40, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- Even worse, it's hosted in Florida. 00:40, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- Florida? isn't that known for being a specially horrible state? who had the idea to put the servers there? πππDaniPine3 (talk)πππ 00:42, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- Even if by some divine Miracle they find it, they'll likely gloss it over as utterly insignificant, to which, to be fair, in the history of the internet, we are.Terminate the Colonel's command. (talk) 00:43, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- Wrong. They definitely would. You don't just ignore a website that's breaking the law just because it's not popular enough. 00:47, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- I mean, tbf, there are also articles here that take the piss at their political adversaries, so it's not like we're their biggest issue... πππDaniPine3 (talk)πππ 00:49, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- I don't want to sound condescending, but you really don't know how doggamn obscure it is. I once looked at thread from 2011--the Golden Age--and most people didn't know what Uncyclopedia was.Terminate the Colonel's command. (talk) 00:50, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- we've never said you're wrong. it's true this website is rather obscure- I don't even know how I managed to find it, considering I'm from Spain and only visited Wikipedia for my classwork. but that doesn't mean they can't find it... πππDaniPine3 (talk)πππ 00:53, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- Your fears are based on hypotheticals. There's a lot of diffrence between hypotheticals and reality.Terminate the Colonel's command. (talk) 00:56, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
