Good review on my Jesus theory article. I agree with all of that stuff. I wrote it for fun a while back, but never really thought of it as hugely amazing. The idea for the whole article is summed up in one line, and for the most part the jokes have nothing to do with it. But I do plan to build off a lot of the ideas in the article to write about The Island Nation of Lesbos (as the current article is awful). Also I plan to write a new article about students, as the old one was crap and thankfully deleted, but now it links to an equally as bad article about high school students... which simply are not students (only a university student is a true student :P). I did delete a few of the images, and templates, although I might put the "unchristianity" template back, as "The Great Schism" links to Jesus theory (no idea who set that link up), and it doesn't distract too much, but does give it a more professional tone.

One of the largest issues with my humour (I'm British English based, so I prefer this spelling!) is that it's very dry, and often tends to draw out small points. I normally write about nothing, and usually manage to find some humour in it. I'm one of those peoeple who adores the works of Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams, and you will find that their forms of comedy are very dry, but smart wit, and from this is where I draw on.

Anyway, I would love if you looked over another of my articles. I'll put it under Pee Review but I would ideally like your review as it's clearly written, no gibberish, and vaguely to the point. Grammar Nazi's are by far the most interesting of people when it comes to words. I personally do extensive proof read, but at times I can tend to miss things, or just use weird grammatic form which tends to sit weirdly, but normally is correct. Typos, I'm sadly very prone to.

I wanted to thank you for reviewing my article and for being so generous with your recommendations. You brought up several points in your review that I would like to comment on:

Note 1. "The only parts I didn't like were the opening and that article-killer of an ending....Chop off the opening and the brief ending. Just leave the whole letter to the editor...I expect to see that ugly ending GONE and the opening reworked" Hahaha, I agree with you on the ending. The abruptness leaves a lingering feeling of incompleteness. However, I must disagree with you on the beginning of the article: one of the points of the article is the degenerative movement of a scholarly tone to the inane. Hopefully, the "dear editor" part of the article captured the voice of an increasingly un-credible and silly man. The beginning was to just to set the tone--no matter how short-lived. Plus, "The Man is a misnomer: because just as a man barbecuing a suckling pig and withholding choice pieces from a neighbor is symptomatic of The Man, so is a nursing mother denying her teat to her suckling infant symptomatic of The Man as well." is one of the most sublime pieces of prose I've ever written, HAHAHA.

Note 2. "My only problem with it is the fact that some of your sentences end up being run-on sentences, making them very confusing. Your grammar kinda gums things up in just a few spots, too. Easy fix, though. Also, you're right about your ghastly formatting. This is a pretty ugly article. I tried to fix up a few things for you, but there's still some work that needs doing." I agree with you, but with reservations. If you are talking about the sentences in the "dear editor" part, I must reply that the sentences are supposed to capture the state of anxiety and lack of composure that would afflict anyone witnessing the terrifying. However, for the sake of clarity I will reread the article and make changes when the idea gets lost in the moment, haha. Thanks for fixing it up!

Note 3. Images: I'll be thinking of this a bit more. I really don't see this article needing anymore images.

Note 4. The Title: I plan on keeping it because it sets initially the tone for the article.

Note 5. I really just want to thank you for taking the time to review my article. Thank you!

Hey, it's a wiki format, you CAN change things yourself XD -- I'm not sure about having clever titles... they'd kinda interrupt the flow of it, and flow's something difficult to do; if you want to add something new in the middle of old stuff you end up having to edit everything before and after it in order to get the flow right. I liked the quotes, and it did something I'd been trying to work out before: to put off the final moment and build tension.
