Welcome![edit source]

Hello, IdoSet, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for nooblets:

Got your email[edit source]

Thanks for your email. However, you are using a format that I cannot modify as an admin which is highly irregular. Also, you are placing the videos in a way which disrupts the article formatting. I've asked a wikimedia staff member about this, so I'd like you to stop editing further until we can settle this. That includes ban evasion, as with a new account I just saw. Thanks. ~Jewriken.GIF 15:41, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Hya. Sorry for being pesky, but I'd like to wait for a formal answer from sannse which is our local staff member, we have enough spam issues here and I'd like to be absolutely sure before you continue. You can go online on our IRC channel and look for her or any other staff member, I can't do it since I'm at my (real) job and IRC is blocked here. Thanks again. ~Jewriken.GIF 15:53, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Follow up[edit source]

Hi again, I'd like you to take a look at the discussion here. We're currently troubled about two issues: 1. The fact that we cannot remove your files. 2. The Uncyclopedia community didn't really make any decision as of using this format and how.

The second issue can be easily resolved with making a post in the village dump. However, until we solve that issue with your format (the fact that we cannot remove it) I'd like you to refrain from any kind of files upload or any experimenting in this format - even in your own space. I'll unban you so you can participate in the discussion and contact sannse. Please, don't use it to upload any further Kultura files, this will result in an immediate and a much longer ban. Thanks and feel free to contact me on my talk page if you need anything. ~Jewriken.GIF 21:31, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Video Thingy[edit source]

IdoSet, just want to repeat my comments from the Forum, think the application is an innovative and clever idea and makes a great application. On gamer wikis such as Halopedia its going to be massive. I think the only issue you are going to have is on the bigger wikis such as Wikipedia and Uncyclopedia due to the amount of muppets and vandals that they attract and the issue of policing content on such a massive scale. -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)

Video Feedback[edit source]

Express yourselves:

You are the winner of the video-wiki of the day Well....you know what I think. but since no one is daring to give you feedback after Jack Bauer stepped in to your help yesterday, I will say that given that you had to create them using the invisible unbuttons, that suddenly disapeared, you did a fabulous job. --Michts 19:59, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Thumbs.jpg
Hey, just thought I'd leave comments here as that forum's getting a bit overcrowded and offtopic (as tends to happen). I like the extension, and think it has great potential. Keep at it, people are already starting to come around to the idea :)
One thing I would love to see added (I don't know if you saw this in the forum or not), which would also make it a lot more acceptable to people complaining about the vandalism aspect, is to have it produce a thumbnails image for each revision, like the one on the right, made with Media Player Classic's "save thumbnails" feature. Not sure how easy it'd be to implement, or how it'd do with processing/disk space requirements, but would be very useful! Spang talk 02:12, 02 Mar 2008
Thx for your feedback - in here and in the forum. Actually there is a thumbnail that's created to each rough cut - when you click save, you can choose a thumbnail that represents your edit. I will love to see people expirementing with this tool - a thing that's not possible at the moment, as there's an UnButton (an admin erased the button and link form the tool box). Do you know a way to get it back (a Button is so much more useful than an UnButton...)?
No problem! I look forward to seeing what people can do with this. Refresh and the toolbox link should be back :) The editing toolbar button is actually broken though, it's giving a javascript error btn has no properties on line 145. I'm pretty sure that's not to do with anything anyone has added or removed here.
Ah, yeah the user selectable screenshot is good for normal use (better than youtube picking the screenshot for you!), but vandals aren't going to pick whatever they added as the screenshot! Not that I think it'll be a problem really.
I checked out the canadians video, and I liked it! It'd make a good addition the article. It's like the next step from audio readings of articles, and there's lots of audios people have already made to work from! Spang talk 10:26, 05 Mar 2008

Where'd you go?[edit source]

Just because that video thingy didn't do so hot here doesn't mean you're allowed to leave your room all a mess, mister! Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 17:47, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
