You defeated all manner of creatures in the sssecret Black Mesa base, then travelled to Xen where you defeated the Nihilanth, cutting off a rift to this world, stopping alien creaturesss from pouring in. I then found you and put you in ssstasssisss for twenty years. But now your time hasss come again. So wake up Mr. Freeman. Wake up and... smell the ashes.

The entire planet has been conquered by a super aliens and all of humanity is depending on you. Here, have a crowbar.
