At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Olympus/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply put {{adoptme}} on your Userpage to join. Again, welcome!

On a more personal note

I noticed that you edited The x factor series four. That was actually my very first attempt at an article (Untill now i thought it'd been huffed, shows what i know) before I'd read any of the above links. do seriously read them over. anyway basically i just wanted to say good luck with trying to improve it and dont forget to include images. also, though i am not officially involved with adopt-a-noob (yet i may sign up) i would be happy to help you with general stuff, if you have any questions please visit my talk page and ask away.

And user pages! They're great for stuff. Just click the red link tab at the top to start the page. It can be used tell people a bit about yourself (if you want), generally people use userboxes. and when you've written articles you can put links to them on your page. I only mention this 'cos i took the vanity policy too seriously. Also don't be afriad to create subpages (i have loads as you'll see if you follow teh links in my sig) to start new articles in, or, as i've done, to spread out userpage content.

Also Pee Review is a place i help out at. bassically you put up you articles for revision and review, which is done by other users. it's useful (when done well) for getting feedback on articles (what's right with it, whats wrong with it and how to improve it) which helps you tell how well you're doing. and what to look out for in future.

sorry if you find any of the above patronising (that means i'm talking down to you) or condescending, i'm just trying to help. You may already know what you're doing.
