Greetings, honored traveler NEKO.ca, and welcome to the glorious nation of Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions to the site. I hope you enjoy this great land and decide to make a home here. If not, the city exit is right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah, there you go. Anyway, here are a few helpful links for humble newcomers such as yourself:

If you read any of Uncyclopedia's sacred parchments, make it the above two links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with some sort of issue, try these:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a proud citizen of Uncyclopedia! Please remember to sign your name on all talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~) or alternatively use the "sign" button (Button sig.png) that you see just above the edit box. This will automatically produce both your name and the date.

If you need any sort of help, then feel free to ask me on my talk page, ask at the Village Dump, or add the following template: {{help}} to this page along with a message describing your dilemma and someone will come along and help you if they can.

Again, welcome! --General Insineratehymn 14:33, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Fernando[edit source]

We very much try to discourage spamming templates here. We also discourage spreading unfinished internal memes throughout the site. While in the past some internally created memes have grown to take over parts of this site, by and large they were either flukes, well polished, or widely loved by the users here.

What you're doing with Fernando Burtoni is smearing a (as far as I can tell) fictional creation, or a bit of vanity over several unrelated articles. To make matters worse, it's horribly incomplete, and in danger of being deleted as a steaming load of crap. Fernando has nothing really to do with the Avro Arrow, nor any other of the articles you slapped your template on. At best, you've hacked in some poor connection.

From here on out, let me make some serious recommendations:

1) If you'd like to use Fernando in articles, finish that article first.
2) If you do finish Fernando, logically tie him into articles. Slapping a template at the top is stupid, uncreative, and does nothing to improve the article. If you write three paragraphs in the Fernando Burtoni article about his exploits as a fighter pilot, then it's worth a paragraph summary in the Avro Arrow article. But you can't do the Avro Arrow entry without the supporting Fernando Burtoni text.
3) Templates don't make up for content. While templates are good at organizing things, (see Jesus) they aren't good for adding humor to articles most of the time. Use your words instead of templates. Write paragraphs.

I will continue to slash and burn your Fernando template, along with any others I run across that have been slapped on the top of pages. If you want to link things together, you have to use paragraphs full of words to do it. Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 07/17 15:46

Sorry about the template. I will follow your advice to avoid banination. NEKO.ca 20:40, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
