Welcome![edit source]
Here are some links to see if you have the time:
- Beginner's Guide
- Our Vanity Policies - why we don't care about your friends
- How to be funny and not just stupid
There are more of them, but those three are the most important.
Uncyclopedia is a community wiki, which means anyone can edit it. Once you read those three links above, you could get to work on your first articles. It's best to start by creating them in your userspace, for example: User:Mindlesss/Insert Title Here. Please remember to follow the guidelines and don't be upset if your article gets deleted. If you are writing an article in mainspace, however, and you are not finished yet, put a {{construction}} template on it.
When on talkpages, please sign your name using the signature button. Or you could type in four tidles (~~~~).
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Or, if you're really confused, drop into "adopt a noob" and you'll get adopted by one of these fine fellows.
Have fun, and don't be under pressure, because we're all friends here.

Hey welcome![edit source]
Hi Mindless, welcome aboard! I see that you started a page Hypnotherapy that looks promising, but of course it needs expansion since here it is wishful thinking that anyone will pick it up where you left it. It would be best to start new articles in your userspace as described above, or at least in this case, put the {Construction} template on it (with 2 {{construction}} on each side, so you are sure nobody will delete it since it is too short.) Once again, welcome and feel free to click on the snowflake to miraculously end up on my talkpage if you have questions, I'll be happy to answer them! Cheers. Mattsnow 03:56, August 5, 2011 (UTC)
Hi![edit source]
A couple quick pointers for you, since you are new.
- Usually, you don't edit pages in another user's userspace unless they say it is ok. I don't mind a collaboration, so I don't mind you editing pages in my userspace as long as you don't blank them. If you want to work on a similar page in your own userspace, please go ahead, even if it has the same name. Pages in my userspace tend to stagnate over time (that's why I put the construction template on my userpage).
- History sections are usually not very amusing, and have been overdone to death around here. Unless its of exceptionally high quality, and doesn't mention Hitler, Chuck Norris, Oscar Wilde, or a communist dictator, generally don't add history sections to articles. Same goes for trivia or "fun facts" sections (they tend to be listy, and lists are generally frowned upon in mainspace articles).
Thanks for your time in reading this, have fun editing! -- Simsilikesims(♀UN) Talk here. 15:16, August 7, 2011 (UTC)
