Idea dump[edit source]

Please dump your ideas below. Ideas for creatures, abilities, attacks, held items, etc. It is rather easy to add new ones, so it shouldn't take very long to implement many new things (The hard part is the ui, the battle system, etc, but once that's done, it's a walk through the park to add everything else). Field effect: darkness. Shrouds the field in darkness, obscuring vision, preventing you from seeing enemy healthbars
Creature: Grue. High melee attack and speed, medium physical defence, low everything else. Ability: dark shroud: shrouds the field in darkness for 3 turns. Deals 33% more damage in darkness.
Creature: moccasin. Moccasins have an inexplicable urge to shout "MOCCASINS", which causes a destraction, occasionally redirecting non-physical attacks towards it. Has low physical defence, decent health, high special defence.
Creature: Great Lord Moccaswin (I'll correct the spelling later). Deals 15% more base damage for every friendly moccasin on the field, and +5% base damage for every non-killed moccasin in the owner's team. Has the guard attack.
Attack: Guard. For the next 3 turns, creatures adjacent to the user get 50% damage reduction towards physical attacks.

Creature: Minccino. Lots of status moves, high speed, medium health, low everything else. Ability: Technician - All attacks with a base damage of less than 60 are increased by 50%.
Creature: War chicken. High speed, medium physical attack and special defence. Low other stats. Has bird-like attacks. Ability: Moccasin Aversion. if a moccasin or lord Moccaswin is on the field, it must attack one of those targets or switch out (cannot use items or status attacks). — L10nM4st3r (me) Go back to top 19:09, 4 May 2025 (UTC)
Creature: squaw deer. Has a ram attack and a scream attack, where it screams "I AM NOT A DEER", dealing damage to all enemies, with a small reduction based on distance. Ability: Moccasin Fan. Suggestion #2: Olula (i wrote out just about everything possible, could probably use some tweaking but they're not that OP if there's gonna be anything stronger than a minccino around)
Typing: Normal/Flying (normal because sound-based stuff is normal-type, and flying because uhhhh there's a beak on its head); Stats: 160HP 103ATK 35DEF 48SPATK 71SPDEF 83SPE TOTAL: 500; Ability: Contaginuity - Using a contact move against this thing causes the user to transform into it. This transformation is undone after 3 turns; Attacks: Mostly claw/kicking moves (except Dire Claw), but can also use moves like Peck, Bite and Crunch. Gets Swords Dance and Hone Claws as status moves.
Counterstrategy (yes i came up with a counterstrategy for this lol) Survive a hit and hit it back with any non-contact physical move. This thing is squishy as hell. If you have to use a contact move then make sure you outlevel it to win a speed tie against it

The moccasins strat I plan to be quite powerful. You would need to grind to get the correct team, and then train them, AND THEN figure out this strat doesn't work, so get another team, and so on and so fourth
The grue strat is also pretty interesting. I also want to make good use of the orange kittens, which not only acts like a baton pass in pokemon, but also buffs all the stats of the next allied creatures to come out
Theoretically, you could have 5 orange kittens, keep huffing them, and then your final guy would be a sweeper, perhaps with an immunity to stat decreases... or not. Still, I think this playstyle is cool. — L10nM4st3r (me) Go back to top 22:48, 4 May 2025 (UTC)
My second suggestion: Frog Semen as a usable item, increases speed and HP. Each time you drink Frog Semen, it should have a random side effect, such as causing you to fall asleep, making you glow in the dark, making you become Bat Fuck Insane, giving everything explosion sound effects, making you able to fly, etc. Oᑭöᔑᔑᙀᙏ OPOSSUMSIG.gif (vandalize my talk page) 22:51, 4 May 2025 (UTC)
And you can collect the stuff by capturing a bunch of frogs, which would possibly have an ability which causes them to slowly generate more of the item every time they enter battle. — L10nM4st3r (me) Go back to top 22:52, 4 May 2025 (UTC)
Not everything has to be designed for combat. The orange kitten is an example with very, very low stats
I plan to have an item where you have higher attack priority with the first move of a creature that holds it.
