At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Krushnevya/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply put {{adoptme}} on your Userpage to join. Again, welcome! – Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize • writings • critchat) 03:28 Apr 16, 2008
Apparent Vanity Policy Violation[edit source]
I'd like to inform you that the article you wrote, "Krushnevya", was likely in violation of our vanity policies. It has since been deleted, and if it (or any other article you might write) is recreated violating said policies again, you will receive, at the least, a 1-week block. Uncyclopedia deletes vanity articles because 99% of the time, they just aren't funny to us. I'm sure it could be the most hilarious thing to you and your buddies, but the rest of us are standing around scratching our heads in bewilderment. Also, writing libel about people you know is not tolerated here--that will get you an instant one-month ban. If you believe I'm mistaken (and there's a good chance I could be), please leave me a note on my talk page and I'll double-check. Thanks. - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon (Tick Tock) (Contribs) 18:56, Apr 23
