Attack of the 500 foot Jesus

Great work on JesusVsRoboHitler.jpg.....love it. Going to nominate it for it VFP. -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)

Big Mother

The Big Mother picture: Go ahead and use it, I wasn't planning on using it in any article. It was just an idea I had. Regards, --DaMenace 00:35, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Famine's Religious Discussion Corner

[Moved from the VFD page.]

[Note: This was moved here by Famine, following a discussion of whether or not to delete "Template:QuotesPages" that became slightly too heated for his taste. As you can see... - ]

KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! - --Steve "Heeeere's Johnny" Ballmer 20:20, 6 Dec 2005 (UTC)

I'm not sure I understand the objection to the template ... JohnnyRaven hasn't said anything intelligent, and Famine's objection has more to do with the pages it links to than the template itself. Is the question here, "Should all the Making up quotes pages be linked together?" or "Is this template the correct way to link them together?" or "Should the Making up quotes pages exist?" or "Should we delete this because Nerd42 made it?" --Nerd42 21:37, 6 Dec 2005 (UTC)
Are you trying to suggest that killing isn't "intelligent"? What do you have against killing? Does the idea of killing offend you? As for the template, I'm afraid many of us would rather keep this whole site fairly chaotic and not appear to be a bunch of Type-A personalities obsessed with organizing every fricking thing there is into an endless series of lists, tables, and bullet points. --Johnny C. Raven 04:15, 7 Dec 2005 (UTC)
No, just that only saying one word a bunch of times was voting, but didn't explain anything to me. That the word happened to be "KILL" had nothing to do with it. --Nerd42 15:50, 7 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Kill: I'm opposed to the template because it tends to dominate the pages it's on and makes them look lower quality. In fact, for that matter, I'm in favor of fewer templates in general (but that's neither here nor now). --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 13:37, 7 Dec 2005 (UTC)

I've just moved it off all the main article pages, leaving a single wiki link to the related making up quotes pages. The template still exists on the making up quotes pages and it stays that way, it might be ok to leave it be. However, if it makes it back onto any of the main article pages, I will go back to being pro-nukes. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 18:11, 7 Dec 2005 (UTC)
Bad idea. I really hope I'm not the only person here who sees that all this is being done to take advantage of the fact that a huge number of articles on this site link prominently to Oscar Wilde, in order to make it very easy for anyone visiting here to go from the main page to an article filled with extreme-right pseudo-Christian hate propaganda in four clicks or less. (I don't care how subtle it is now; it will soon become less so, I guarantee that.) And all done under the innocent-sounding flag of "improved organization." Even if they're off the main pages, this template and all of the bogus "Making up quotes" pages should immediately be scythed, whacked, reaped, lethally injected, blasted to atoms, put down, and yes, huffed without a shred of hesitation or mercy. --Johnny C. Raven 22:16, 7 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Whoah, calm down there pardner. Take a chill pill, try to breath in and out slowly taking deep breaths.

It's All About That "extreme-right pseudo-Christian hate propaganda in four clicks or less" Groove Thang

What the heck?

Which of the "Making up quotes" pages are you referring to there?

???

Are you perhaps referring to my other articles?

I don't deal in "extreme-right pseudo-Christian hate propaganda"

I don't even deal in "extreme-right pseudo-Christian propaganda" on the same level as some articles containing "extreme-left anti-religious hate propaganda" that I could mention.

I occasionally do parodies of "extreme-right pseudo-Christian hate propaganda"

I more often do parodies of "extreme-left anti-religious hate propaganda"

I have also argued on discussion pages against what I consider "extreme-left anti-religious hate propaganda"

Lately I've written two or three articles on Christianity vs Atheism, only one of which is pro-Christian oriented. Furthermore, I have no dark evil twisted snister schemes for turning Uncyclopedia into Churchjokepeida. So please either explain precisely what it is you are talking about or kindly shut up. --Nerd42 23:57, 7 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Actions speak louder than words, my friend. --Johnny C. Raven 00:45, 8 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Sir, your delusion of a percieved vast right-wing conspiracy invading Uncyclopedia would be funny if it wasn't obvious that you seem to actually believe in it. You have made rude unfounded accusations which I reguard as personal attacks. You cannot back them up. Therefore I see no point in continuing this conversation. --Nerd42 19:21, 8 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Having read this on your user page:

"Johnny Raven" is the official name of Jonathan Hieronymus Ravensworthy IV, which is in turn the assumed name of a massive international celebrity superstar who, despite wasting all of his valuable time on Uncyclopedia, nevertheless eats punks like you for breakfast.
Ravensworthy is also the CEO of a major software corporation, whose products are used by several Fortune 500 companies to harass schoolchildren, steal their lunch money, and generally make everyone's life less pleasant. Ravensworthy's efficient and sophisticated systems have allowed these companies to reduce schoolchild-harassment and making-life-less-pleasant costs by as much as 45 percent, while actually increasing the quantity and quality of harassment and unpleasantness-making incidents. Good work, Johnny!

I have to wonder if the Reasons to become an atheist controversy is just a gag, a joke to fit with your Uncyclopedia image as someone who harasses people. If so, you got me good, and it looks like you got Nerd42 as well. I'd award us both a Gullibility for Dummies Mirror but I can't afford my own shipping and handling charges and I doubt Nerd42 would want to pay them either!:-) Cheers.--Naughtyned 11:42, 15 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Note from Johnny-boy to anyone who actually gives a shit: "Naughtyned" is the author, or inserter, of one of the two lines in the referenced article that I've been asking Nerd42 to delete. He could, of course, delete that line himself, and that would leave Nerd42 with only one line to delete.
