At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:HurricaneMa§ter/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.
If you want to write and don't know where to begin, browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome! – Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize • writings • critchat) 04:31 Sep 06, 2008
Hurricane Article[edit source]
First of all, welcome to Uncyclopedia! I surmise, by your creation, you have an interest in hurricanes, cool! :) As a note, I made a 'parody' of the 2007 season at 2007 Wikipedia hurricane season. It's not complete, but it may be of some help. Enjoy and, again, welcome! - Admiral Enzo Aquarius-Dial the Gate 04:46, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- And while we're at it, we also have Tropical cyclone - which has been featured. Also, if you're interested, El Niño could do with a bit of work. Nominally Humane! some time Monday, 04:15, Apr 12 2010 UTC
- With regrets, I've rolled back your edits. This article (likewise Global warming) is making fun of the "science" of mistaking correlation for causation. The list you modified was a list of actual Latin-American phenomena which the article will mistakenly blame on climate changes. (The phenomenon that could be blamed on climate changes, the change in fish patterns, is mentioned below as a mere afterthought.) Your extensions to the list take it into the realm of the unreal, and sort of spoil the joke. (I'll watch this page for a couple days, if you wish to respond; after that, you can come to my talk page.) Spıke ¬ 13:36 12-Apr-10
Where's Waldo?[edit source]
