I'm asking kindly

Would please stop making wholesale changes to article Queen Victoria. The images that you are removing were made especially for the article and replaceing them with stock images from other internet sites doesn't do the text justice. So again, I am asking nicely that you stop mucking up the article. I am also asking that before you make additional edits that read Uncyclopedia:How To Be Funny And Not Just Stupid Dame GUN PotY WotM 2xPotM 17xVFH VFP Poo PMS •YAP• 02:35, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

As a general rule if there's already an existing article that clearly looks like a lot of work has gone into it I'd avoid wholesale rewrites. As Mordillo suggested if you really want to work on the subject matter there's nothing wrong with creating a new article with an alternative title. Maybe in this case you could create A Concise History of Her Imperial Majesty Queen Victoria and have the two articles link to each other.

As you are no doubt aware when people put a lot of work into their writing it can very quickly descend into becoming quite personal, so as long as we all recognise that we most people here just want to get on with the art of writing funny I'm sure a compromise can be made. -- Sir Mhaille  (talk to me)

Fresh start and basic getting around

I'd like to extend a helping hand and a fresh start as an expirienced user to a new user. As Mhaille has pointed out, part of what got my guile up was that your edits were to an article that I had worked very hard on. I'm not normally opposed to edits to my works, however your initial edits were made behind your IP address, and when such wholesale changes are made in the fashion that you chose one can take it for vandalism. The subsequent exchange of edits and reverse edits also annoyed both of us and its something that is best not engaged by either you or myself.

With that out of the way, I would like to help you in whatever way I may, be it in providing article advice, or helping you find an image for an article, or advice in rewriting something. I don't excel at proof reading so I think that is an area that is best not given. I should also warn you that I have a hair trigger temper - in part because I have several small beings running around me and insisting that I am their mother and that it is my duty to feed and clothe them. So if I blow up its not you, its me, and I usually always eat humble pie, sulk about and then return to normal.

I have gone ahead and created you a personal sandbox to play about in with you ideas. User:Frenchfried/sandbox. Sandbox areas are yours to use and expiriment with - they work well when your trying things out.

Also, it helps to keep conversions in one place, try to post your reply immediatly after the first block of conversation - it helps keep things together.
