You're clever indeed, Codeye. However, I want to make it abundantly clear that none of what I said was meant to be insulting; I simply think that being brutally honest is the best way to review a work, and I tend to lean on the side of harsh grading. Like I said, your article has a lot of potential.
You obviously put a lot of effort into that analysis, and while I applaud your effort (indeed, I'm flattered), I must say that you've almost entirely missed the mark on me. Truth is, I'm 17, a libertarian, and I certainly don't own my own house.
I probably didn't understand your article that well because I am, in fact, American. While I do have a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor, some of the points in the article didn't suit my taste. By no means does that mean that it's bad, simply that it's not my cup of tea (and I know how much you Brits love your tea). To me, it felt like there were two different approaches that you were making to the same article at the same time, speaking in terms of humor. Maybe I'm wrong; it's only one man's opinion, after all.
As you would say across the pond, don't get your knickers in a twist. Just remember that it's all in good fun, and the bottom line is to make people laugh.

If you want to add content, fine, but if you add stuff like "this bit used to be funny but it isn't now" to an article, then I or someone else will remove it. Opinions are for talk pages. I know humour is subjective, so I'm not going to get into an argument on what is and isn't funny, unless it's blatant vanity, offensive without redemption, or {{UN:LIST|nothing but a pointless list]], I'm not gonna touch it. - You are welcome, dude! I getcha with the 'faggot' thing I think, we say 'gay' over here to mean crappy or lame, without it being anything to do with homosexuals at all.
