((Something about the drop of blood representing a virgin sacrifice.))

The Life Book is the cornerstone of "The Life Book Movement," a christian movement aimed at high school students to help them better understand the Bible, not unlike the "The Way" movement of the 1970s. The Life Book appeals to teenagers because of the easy to understand nature of the book, and the borderline-retarded ramblings of 4 teen figures and an adult figure in the margins of the pages, which is intended to make the reader feel better about their knowledge of the Bible by highlighting just how little these faceless figureheads know.

The Faceless Figureheads[edit | edit source]

Author Carl Blunt developed the 5 personalities of Dylan, Taylor, Pedro, Vanessa, and Uncle G in the same way that Stephenie Meyer developed the cast of characters for her vampire saga, Twilight, in that they are not developed in any way past the opening information that is used to differentiate the stereotype that each character is supposed to portray. This lack of a personality give the reader the opportunity to decide for themselves what they want the character to look like, and develop forbidden feelings of lust towards them accordingly.

Could I be Dylan?

Dylan[edit | edit source]

Hey, I'm Dylan. I don't care too much about anything or whatever. I represent the typical teenage male heartthrob that you no doubt wish would notice you (but only if you are a girl!). Well guess what: Here I am, and I am noticing you. I'm not really into God and stuff, but I like to keep an open mind. I do generic guy stuff and want to be the first man on Neptune.
