Shane Dawson is a bisexual man who in the span of his internet career, has been a racist, pedophile, zoophile, PR agent, and conspiracy theorist. Beginning this YouTube career as a minstrel performer, Shane began looking at the success of Justin Bieber, shifting his content from blackface into softcore pornography, telling 10-year old girls if they'd "went from the 6th grade to the 12th grade". Initially successful in that, after he was criticized for his early work, he done the only thing possible and hinted at it via his 2014 film Not Cool, which incidentally was not cool due to the only black being a homeless hobo who eats literal shit.

After the colossal failure of Not Cool, which was so bad that even The Room and Sharknado would surpass it in quality, Shane bragged about cumming on his cat and began kissing a dog. Now out of a job, Shane became a PR agent, covering Jake Paul and other pricks in the most positive way possible for cash. However, in the 2020s, Shane would find his newest craft: covering conspiracy theories in the most extreme way. It's safe to say that throughout his career, Shane has proved time and time again, that he really shouldn't be trusted with anyone or anything.

Career

Early career (2008–10)

In March 2008, Shane created his YouTube channel, primarily to see if minstrel performing could get views at that time. He was right. However, some of his earliest videos would not contain that content, instead showing Dawson uploading videos of himself pole dancing and sending photos of customers without their permission. As a result, he was fired from Jenny Craig, the company where he worked at, just a few months later. But it was too late, as Shane was getting popular on YouTube for his skits, which when they weren't glorifying Shane himself, were very, very offensive.

According to Wikipedia, in his less-offensive skits, Shane would play a nerd, lesbian, a jock/bully (who is a closeted homosexual), the jock's insecure girlfriend (who thinks she is overweight), a bulimic, gothic girls, and a Mexican with a stereotyped chola accent. However, if he wanted to be extra offensive, he'd play transexual characters and a Jewish grandmother. Finally, in his minstrel shows, which were only shown to people who'd buy his merch, Shane would play a ghetto girl named Shanaynay and a gangster called S-Deezy. You may think that he'd be banned for this, but remember this was early YouTube, and by a stroke of luck, he'd be at the Streamy Awards in 2010 for having a million subscribers, showing that you too could be famous if you re a giant racist. Additionally, in late 2010, Shane was the first YouTuber to be awarded the Medal of Bigotry by the Ku Klux Klan for his attempts to inhumanize black people.

Failed diversification and early criticism (2010–14)

Alas, being an icon for young girls would only get Shane's blackface obsession hidden for so long, and after Justin Bieber began getting hate for sounding like a sissy and being a suburban homeboy, it was Shane's turn to be in the YouTube drama circus. However, Shane had an advantage that the young Bieber could only hope for. He was an adult. As a result, in 2011, he embezzled funds from Sony, Take180, and Happy Madison Productions which were given to him to make a show about himself in a high school. It was aptly named Shane Dawson High, which in context, would hint at Shane's relations to children.
