Life in District 9[edit | edit source]
From then on MNU has worked tirelessly to control the Earth's new inhabitants. At its own financial expense, MNU has built barracks, survelliance cameras, watchtowers, and missiles to elevate the level of security in District 9.

- Civilian and MNU field vehicles are required to install built-in flamethrowers.
- Any non-human found to have consumed human flesh is subject to the death penalty and promptly ground into imitation crabmeat.
- Juvenile non-humans without a parent or guardian will be taken custody by MNU and promptly sold to the circus.
- Every year, 5,000 non-humans will be shipped to an undisclosed location for employment opportunities.
- For humans, first-degree murder of a non-human is punishable by 24 hours of community service and/or a public apology.
- Non-humans born with physical and/or mental disabilities will be euthanized via humane lethal injection (i.e. injection of 2 liters of battery acid into the cloaca) or sold to the circus.
Organized Crime[edit | edit source]
Controversy[edit | edit source]
Even though the non-humans lived under tight regulations by MNU in District 9, tensions have risen in years prior to the eventual resettlement. While the neighboring citizens complained of rampant crime committed by non-humans, non-humans in turn complained of multiple hate crimes allegedly perpetrated by hate groups like the MWB.
Wikus van de Merwe[edit | edit source]
District 10[edit | edit source]
Though the field agents of MNU tried hard to crack down on the brewing tensions between humans and non-humans, they nevertheless saw that the very presence of the non-humans in District 9 posed a threat to MNU's financial assets. This was why the MNU organized a large-scale resettlement of over two million non-humans to a more heavily regulated compound known as District 10.
