Khans-Batan Flight 666 is the flight by the Indian low-cost budget airline Khans-Batan Airlines that crashed off the coast of Dubai in September 24, 2008.
Origin of the crash[edit | edit source]
After the plane received maintainance at the Dubai Airport, the Boeing 737-300 was ready for departure. But a cigarette was left behind ion the left engine, which produced some smoke. In the cabin is the captain, Audh Soar Singh and the co-pilot, Chelesy Mahal. The plane will travel to Delhi, with a stop in Karachi, Pakistan.
Inside the cabin, the passengers are already on board. One of them is Sonic the Hedgehog, who just returned from a race in London. Another one was Shaggy and Scooby-Doo, both cowards who just recently opened Mystery Inc.'s new nightclub. With 195 passengers and 5 crew members all boarded on a flight, Flight 666 is ready for takeoff.
Takeoff[edit | edit source]
At 7:20 P.M. on September 24th, 2008, Flight 666 took off. At 7:29 PM, the left engine surged and flamed out. This was unaware of the passengers at the time. At 7:42 PM, the passengers panicked when the right engine surged and flamed out. The captain, Audh Soar Singh, said over the P.A.
“ | Ladies and gentlemen this is your captain speaking. Our engines are flaming out. We are trying very hard to get them going again. Please do not panic. We have plenty of time! Thank you | ” |
As a result of the two engines flaming out, many people were in panic. Audh Soar Singh re-announced this:
“ | Ladies and gentlemen, we have a big problem. All two engines flamed out. We are trying to get them going again. I hope you are not in much distress | ” |
After all two engines flamed out (which took 5 seconds and no one cared), the 737 became a glider. Audh calculated that at 21,525 feet, they could glide for approximentaly 4 minutes and cover about near 18 miles. They eventually could not make it and they were about to begin a ditch. The co-pilot said
“ | Brace for impact! | ” |
and about 39 seconds later they failed to ditch and they crashed in the Persian Gulf. No one survived the crash, and nobody in Dubai cared.
