UnBooks:Honest Jim's Miracle Tonic[edit source]

Just made this one, in a similar vein (I think, anyways) to UnBooks:Science Fair. But enough about me. Tell me about me. Is the page good, bad, ugly, overused cliche, etc? Tips for improvement and specific opinions are, as always, very much appreciated. - P.M., WotM, & GUN, Sir Led Balloon Baloon.gif(Tick Tock) (Contribs) 21:17, Nov 20

There are a few instances where I see you're missing some quotation marks. You did really well considering the concept, it was fun to read. Specifically, I liked the part in the beginning with all the 'humbles', and the 'good ol' American' bits of Jim's speech. The use of pictures was also very nice. As for improvement, the sixth-sense reference didn't really seem to add to it, and the ending felt a bit lacking- but it'll survive from here just fine, if you don't feel up to working on it. I strongly approve of it, if that matters at all. --Komodo Gallant 04:02, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Humour: 9 I am humbly honoured by the humble humo(u)r of Honest Jim!
Concept: 9 This gets a 9 because when I used to do drama, I loved to do characters like Honest Jim. "Step riiiight up lay-dees an' genn'le men..." :D Good times.
Prose and formatting: 10 Perfect Prose as always dude. I didn't spot any grammar or spooling errers.
Images: 8 Honest Jim, the Police Chief and the Miracle Tonic images: perfect. I just thought that the Barman looked a little.. I dunno... too high class to be SERVING the humble retards.
Miscellaneous: 10 "Side effects may include nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea (Yay, Pepto Bismol!), anxiety, depression, being anxious about being depressed, being depressed about anxiety caused by depression, insomnia, inability to sleep, lack of sleep due to insomnia, insomnia, cancer, stillborn babies, slow agonizing death by internal hemorrhaging, and, in rare cases, freakish, Stephen King-esque psychic powers. Any questions?" - ELL OH ELL
Final Score: 46 Damn good my friend. It might be a big long for the front page, but I think it deserves to be on there.
