General Overview: WAY, WAY, WAY too Random.
Humour: | 2 | Unreadable randomness is not funny. Please read HTBFANJS. |
Concept: | 3 | Random topic. As a rule, its hard to write funny pages about unfunny things, like plants or fungi. |
Prose and formatting: | 4.5 | You managed to avoid red links and have reasonable spelling and grammar, more or less. However, the article still looks ugly. For one, you have a random line across the page; that in itself took off about a whole point. Second, you have too much white space at the end of the article. You should try to move the images so that they don't generate as much white space; for example, don't put an image at the tail end of an article. Also, try to avoid one line paragraphs as far as is possible. |
Images: | 4 | Pictures are too random. Only the picture of the the mushroom should remain. Your score is this high only because you have a pic of the actual subject matter. |
Miscellaneous: | 2 | Improvablity score. There is little humor or potential humor lurking in this article, and the subject isn't particular funny. |
Final Score: | 15.5 | I'd suggest doing a major rewrite, if not sending this to VFD. If you really want to keep it, I'd suggest moving it to your userspace and work on it from there. If it stays on mainspace too long, it might wind up being deleted. You might even want to cut your losses and let this article be deleted. |

P.S. In a nutshell, your article doesn't really have any redeeming material. Randomness is not funny, especially here its been done to death and then some. See Category:Featured for some examples of what is a good article by uncyclopedia's standards. Now, there a few in-jokes and other such nonsense in that category, any one-liners or really short articles wouldn't be a true "good article".
In order to write a good article, you will need to be consistent and make sense. Most often, you will need to sell a story, as it were. There is a place for rouge punchlines and other such silliness, but the general rule is those sort of things will be much more funny to the author than anyone else, and probably should be avoided. "Telling a story" requires consistency, but is more mere avoidance of nonsense and contradiction. Rather, it is conveying (humorous) information about a subject without mentally "overwhelming" the reader with throw-away one liners, subject hopping, or absurd hyperbole.
Unfortunately, your article, as it stands has no plot, or parts of a plot. Unless you have some ideas on how to improve it create a totally new about the same subject, you honestly might want to consider cutting your losses on this one. Almost every author has written something that wasn't worth keeping. Good luck on your future articles.--Mnbvcxz 06:21, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
