UnNews:Almost like Trump is doing this on purpose
Friday, November 27, 2015
Donald Trump is involved in yet another scandal involving a slur on a minority - almost as if it was all part of a deliberate strategy.
Coming soon after describing Mexicans as rapists and murderers, asking an assertive female reporter if she was menstruating, and saying "we're going to be looking into that" when asked about the possibility of "getting rid of" Muslims, Trump attacked a New York Times reporter, apparently mocking the disabled man's hands and voice.
Unfortunately for Trump, the act backfired, leading to huge amounts of media attention, which is obviously the last thing he wants right now.
An insider on the Trump campaign told UnNews: "This is a nightmare. We are trying to organize a publicity campaign for him, and he keeps derailing it with these extremely eye-catching and provocative statements.
"It makes our job impossible. How are we supposed to generate publicity when we are constantly surrounded by these media storms he keeps whipping up?
"By the way, did you know his private emails are full of homophobic language? Pass it on."
Political analyst Joanna Corey feels Trump's actions are destined to fail: "Unfortunately for Trump, the old adage that any publicity is good publicity doesn't work any more. A huge proportion of the nation is college-educated, and we read deeply about politics before making informed decisions on who we will vote for.
"We don't live in a society where people just click on a headline, skim-read a few paragraphs, and take nothing from the story except the idea the protagonist is still building momentum.
"If you look up any betting website, you will find Trump is the second favorite - and I believe 100% of Americans could tell you who the frontrunner is.
"What? Oh OK, I'll give you a hint, it's not the black guy or Bush's brother."
