The enigmatic pair of red pants starred in their own right, picking up an Oscar nomination in the category of "Reddest pair of pants on a minor and hitherto unnamed character who is killed within the first 58 seconds of their appearance", sadly beaten to the gong by a pair of pants on Unidentified Panicky Citizen #347 of Ghostbusters fame. Despite an unsuccessful attempt to hang itself from a clothesline in 1995, Red Pants was invited back to appear in the prequels and were even featured on the exclusive 23rd and a Half Exclusive Digitally Re-mastered Special Director's Red Pant's Cut Edition DVD, much to the delight of people everywhere dark and basement like.

When approached for comment on the unidentified co-star, Red Pants could only offer the explaination;

while very deep and insightful, Red Pants could not offer any further explanation on the identity of Unidentified Man In Red Pants.
