Vain?

Im sorry, theme songs? that must be the vainest thing I've ever seen! this page is quite clearly a egotistical page made by red teacup to gain attention.

Why did I add the {{fix}} tag?

For a variety of reasons. First, understand that this page is not total crap; if it were, I simply would have stuck the page on VFD and been done with it. In fact, a substantial bit of this page closely resembles an actual article; it has formatting, links, categories, pictures and everything! You even threw in an infobox. The problem is that once you get down to the second half of the page, the quality sharply deteriorates. There are a few listy sections (and listiness is bad) and two sections at the bottom made up entirely of images- and the last one is just completely irrelevant and an eyesore to boot. In addition, while the first half of the article is generally good, it could benefit from a bit of a general cleanup.

Now, I'm no Pee Reviewer, but I don't think it'd be right for me to just rant about the article without making some real suggestions about improving it, so here they are:

• Fix the infobox. An authentic-looking infobox is a good idea in a biographical article, but if you have too much information in the box it just looks overdone, and crosses from "funny" to "stupid."
• Remove some of the citations. Again, using fake citations for humor is good, but if you go too far, it stops being funny.
• I used to play RuneScape, and I can tell that this Red Teacup person is from the game. I understand the RuneScape-specific references, but that's because I've played RuneScape. See if you can modify said references so that people who've not played the game will still understand them. (Just a thought; I couldn't actually say whether non-RS people will get them.)
• Delete the sections "Drunk Quotes" and "Things Red Teacup Likes to Stare at While High." I am so serious. Those two sections add nothing to the article because they're just random humor. Expand the sections "Red Teacup's Private Life" and "How to Speak in Red Teacup Language." These two sections can actually be relevant to the article and still deliver humor- I believe that you could pull it off, because as stated, the first half or so of the article is not half bad. "Other Stuff" and "More Stuff" could also use expanding/merging/deleting, at your discretion.
• The headline formatting throughout the article has a bit of an issue. I think the trouble starts at "Aye!"

Overall, the reason I added the {{fix}} tag is because the article isn't, in my eyes, fit for VFD. With a bit of improvement this could be a good page. You have enough skill as a writer that I think you can pull it off. I imagine you've read this page before, but How To Be Funny And Not Just Stupid is something good to read if you haven't seen it at this point. Since writing that bit up there at the top, the article has not improved, even a little; it has in fact worsened considerably. There are now more lists on the page than before, not to mention YouTube videos of all things. In addition, none of the changes I suggested above have been implemented. If this article doesn't get improved in good time it's going to get deleted. --Andorin Kato 07:47, November 25, 2009 (UTC)

VFD would probably be the place to nominate this if you wanted to try that, the authors should listen to Andorin's advice or this might end up there. MrN 22:56, Feb 15
