Extension for Firefox[edit source]
Talk:Firesheep/l is also a blazing hot extension for the Mozilla Firefox web browser. The Talk:Firesheep/l extension uses a packet sniffer to completely steal all of Facebook's and Twitter's cookies from the cookie jar. Since fresh cookies can be delivered and shared throughout networks today, the packet sniffing technique is often used by hungry criminal minds.
Quite ironically, the original purpose for the Talk:Firesheep/l extension was to demonstrate the risk of session hijacking and having network-shared cookies being stolen. This demonstration was performed hacking a completely innocent internet user from Wisconsin, who still doesn't know what hit him.[1]
- I'm more than a little split at including this section. It really doesn't flow with the rest of the article. --Nikau (talk) 01:58, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
- I guess we can cut this. I included this originally because when I started it it was the basis for the article until the fiery sheep idea sprang into my mind. Then I included it to reference the actual Firesheep (which is an extension) but yeah let's exclude this. Nice work, though. Hey would you wanna collaborate to make Regular Show a better article? 02:00 9.17.14
- I'll take a look see what I can do for Regular Show --Nikau (talk) 02:05, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
