Current administration[edit source]

The current section "Current administration" is funny, but it's not based on anything. (Actually, nothing in "Governance" is based on anything real.) Wikipedia says the FMLN has won the presidency this year. They stopped nominating Marxist revolutionaries and finally nominated a TV journalist. This sounds like a great basis for a gag section that actually relates to something. All it takes is someone from the country who knows what's really going on. --Spıke ¬  02:59, September 24, 2009 (UTC)

I remember when El Salvador was very much in the news in the early 1980s when Archbishop Romero was shot dead in his own cathedral. A bit like Thomas Beckett but with bullets used instead. I did stop by there once on a trip down to Costa Rica. I remember there is a huge extinct volcano very near the main airport. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 10:41, May 8, 2012 (UTC)

Thought I knew a lot of extinct volcano jokes but cannot see how to run with this. Spıke ¬ 10:45 8-May-12
