Autopatrolled users dont generate a little red "!" when making edits. You can manually "patrol" these edits and mark them as decent edits to remove the little ! or you can set them to autopatrolled so their edits dont generate the ! anymore. - B@NZai k!tten (Meow?)B 16:37, 14 September 2015 (UTC)

Autopatrolled basically means the user knows enough now to not need to be constantly watched by admins for any incorrect things they might be doing, and as such it also bestows some user rights such as the ability to edit semi-protected pages, and move pages I believe. - B@NZai k!tten (Meow?)B 16:42, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
