I say that the Adopt-A-Noob program should have a page for n00bs to put their usernames in for them to say they want to be adopted, in a way similar to to the adopters page. This would let noobs rise up against us voice their needs more easily. I hope this can be done, for adopters and potential adoptees alike. -- 02 13, 21:03, 2010
- Na. We did have a template which people could put on their user page, and then wait for someone to adopt them. It added an entry into a category, but no one ever bothered to check the category, and it became a mess. Noobs waiting to be adopted, but never were... That's why we got rid of it. If a noob wants to be adopted they can contact someone from the list of adopters on their talk page. That way they get a response, and are not waiting around. It's better if the Noob chooses an adopter, rather than the other way around IMO. MrN
