Hey guys, are there any Zork or Game pages that you find to be particularly humourous? For starters, I find Game:Zork/nopee to be quite giggle-worthy (especially the self-aware ironic Grue link). Also, the recently-added Game:Zork3/left is a marvellous case of full-circling.
Do you think there should be some means by which such pages can be exalted? --L 08:09, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- I did like some of the multiplayer chess pages, though you've to use the history option to see some of the funnier ones. (I especially liked the part about "Black king transported through broken continuum, alternate universe created populated only by females." I immortialized it with an icon, posted at Kalir's userpage.)--Quira 08:21, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- Also, another favourite of mine is Game:Zork/leavecloset. If you haven't read it, let me say that it's probably the best "death page" in the entire game. Thank you, 71.121.1.6! -L 10:08, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- And finally, the denouement that awaits the player who selected Fly Up may not be very funny, but I find it strangely appealing. Maybe it's just the idea that the game waits so long, playing a cat-and-mouse game with the player, before slamming him back down to earth for daring to think that all of his problems could be solved by simply choosing "fly up". --L 10:00, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
