Wikia has a feature that lets you find out the most popular pages and statistics on visits to pages. Aparantly this was disabled for some reason. Not sure why. Not to seem crude...but perhaps people are happier not knowing how few many people visit these pages...but I cannot see any reason why those who want to view them cannot. Does anyone know any more information about this. It is a feature available to other wikis: Special:Mostvisitedpages . --ShabiDOO 00:56, June 29, 2011 (UTC)
- Not sure when this was disabled. I'd like it back too. -- The Zombiebaron 05:08, June 30, 2011 (UTC)
- I would bet anything it's related to caching, and unlikely to come back. – Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize • writings • critchat) 05:11 Jun 30, 2011
- I remember a discussion on this before. It is definitely a technical issue which would cause the whole site to slow down and burn. Basically there's not enough minge. mAttlobster. (hello) 11:53, June 30, 2011 (UTC)
- Well...theres always a solution to anything. A writer should have a sense of whats being read. Are there 10 hits a week? 100? 1000? Makes a difference. --ShabiDOO 13:04, June 30, 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'd say we should have the page-views back. Just in case one may wish to view how many times the page has been accessed like I do, that sort of thing. - 62.30.212.210 13:48, June 30, 2011 (UTC)
