Forum:A writing competition... With a twist!
Hello everyone, Frosty here to propose a new writting competition, but this one is different. Well actually only one component is different. The page you are writting must be listed under Special:ProtectedTitles, put quite simply the article has had so many failed attempts at writting it that the admins have locked it indefinitely against creation. It's seen as the impossible to make funny. Thats where the competition comes in.
I propose contestants are given exactly one week to write the best take on a damned article that they can before submitting it to a panel of judges who select the best entry as a winner.
I have the rules outlined, but I'd like to here a degree of community support for the idea before putting them forward to you.

- I did see this problem though, but there are several reasonable titles that could be made funny if a person gave it an actual go. I'll make suggestions for people having difficulties if they need them. ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!)

I like the idea, and would be happy to be judge or contestant. So when do you purpose this competition start? --

- Perhaps at the start of August, I'm thinking of getting 3 judges, but everyone is welcome to compete, however before I start finalising everything. I'd see more support and interest from potential competiters! ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) 01:35, July 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Well I don't know if the beginning of August is a great time, seeing as "The Uncyc Summer Extravaganza" is scheduled to start on the first of that month. Anyway, hope this gets off it's feet! Good luck! --
