Unfortunately...
...we seem to have gone a little too quickly to get more folks on-board for the actual move. I mean, we could have moved the content, pointed to the thing, and said, hey, we can move. See? and then just redone it when folks actually had time for it to all sink and agree that yeah, we should move, and whatnot, instead of just saying hey, we're moving. Be ready and then moved immediately.
I guess the problem was that it took almost a week just to parse the damn xml dump, and then another few days to get the other stuff, and a few days scripting and playing Skyrim, and a day to rebuild after getting the changes since the dump was created, and apparently the notion of using the one we had as an example instead of as the thing itself just didn't occur to us. - Something else I noticed today - if you paste a link from this version of the site on FaceBook, the first paragraph appears in the preview (as it should) whereas in the past it used to quote the caption. AND you can choose from the images on the page for the link's thumbnail. Both of these are important changes in my book. If all of us chose an article we really liked and posted it on facebook, it would get us new readers and writers, for sure. Good stuff! Leverage (talk) 19:27, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
