Just made The Unicorns page. First: is it okay that I made the Template:Infobox_Band? I basically stole it from the dude who made the political parties template, as you can probably see if you view the source. Second: anyone wants to clean up what I've made, that would be appreciated, I'm still very noob here. Third: How do I get the band template to go under the wikipedia template on the unicorns page? Any answers appreciated, thanks. --Palsworth 01:52, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi, Palsworth. I took a look at your article and attempted to fix your problem with formatting - I've done the best I can to get the infobox to go underneath the wikipedia template. As for the article, I think it might be funnier to people familiar with the band - perhaps it needs some inside knowledge for it to function better. As it is, I found the album name one quite funny, but then I realised it was an actual album they produced by clicking the WP link. I think it might be funny to add some more humorous song/album names. I'm going to stop now, this is rapidly sounding like Pee Review, and the admins won't like it... --Hindleyite | PL | GUN | WOTM | Image Review - Use it | Converse 10:02, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
hey, thanks for the help, with the unicorns page too. just testing the water, so to speak. if you feel like it, you can check out my user page, where i have some works-in-progress that might need help. --Palsworth 20:51, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

can someone tell me what these commands at the bottom of some pages do:

[[fi:Muslimit]]
[[fr:Islam]]

such info. would be contained in which "help" pages? --Mowgli 13:22, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Those tags add a link to the article on this topic in a different language to the "in other languages" box at the lower-left side of the screen. ar: ca: da: de: el: en: es: fi: fr: he: hu: it: ja: la: nl: no: pl: pt: ru: sv: zh-tw: zh: are the twenty-two languages which each have their own wiki somewhere in the Uncyclopedia project. It's possible to link from here to fourteen of the twenty-two languages using these tags.
Help for MediaWiki in general is on http://mediawiki.org and http://meta.wikimedia.org - most of what applies to text formatting in Wikipedia and other MediaWiki sites can also be applied here as it's the same software --Carlb 14:22, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

this is like really WIKIPEDIA COMPLICATED STUFF STFU!! who needs 22 languages man? are we in china all of a sudden? what happened to to KISS? keep-it-simple-stupid? well i dunno but english, the kind i understand, is the only language i understand - that too when i'm high; rest of the gibberish is bunkum claptrap to my ears (even if it's in english) 'cos the rest of the time i need to pay attention to and understand the silence i feel -- lest i suddenly asplode. sorry for polluting your airspace -- i really don't need these commands; i'd rather not remember that the starving and dying DO NOT speak english yet they read uncyclopedia. now don't you feel guilty -- i know it is not your fault but thanks for awakening me to the darker, sinister side of uncyclopedia. i think we need a parody of uncyclopedia, called unclepedia something - these guys take themselves way tooooooooo seriously here. signing off! good riddance! thank jew! --Mowgli 17:56, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Well, we also have an easy version for people like you.---Asteroid B612B612.jpg (aka Rataube) - Ñ 10:32, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

another question. how do i edit my signature? (can't find anything under "preferences" tag...am i blind?) i just want to change the font and color. TIA --Mowgli 13:15, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

HELP! even after going through http://www.wikia.com/wiki/Help:Signature i know not how to JUST change the font and color of my signature <-- that's all i wanted to do really --- not link it to some other page or whatever. please help if you are reading this. leave me your name on my "talk" and i'll return the favour in this life. TIA --mowgli 18:07, 24 July 2006 (UTC) {<--- you can see how i have lost the link to myself in my signature in this random html changes engendered by this confusion}
hey! i did put an html "italics" wrap around my name under "preferences" but like how come my signature above (in THIS page) is not italicised but my last message is? strange! wonder how ----> this signature will appear --mowgli 18:17, 24 July 2006 (UTC) (it appears as expected in the preview but like...i don't know...is it my "cache" or do old signatures get preserved in the formatting-at-the-time-of-posting for ever? -- that's kinda creepy)
Hi, Mowgli. The best thing to do if you want more customisation on your sig is to create a page for it. I have set one up at your userpage for you: User:Mowgli/sig. First, edit this all you want then, under your preferences, put "{{SUBST:User:Mowgli/sig}}" as your nickname and tick the 'Raw signatures" box.
Next, to put this sig onto a page, type "--~~~~" (two dashes, 4 tildes) and your signature should turn up with the date and time. Hope this helps. If not, read this page for more info - it's where I learned how to do this from. --Hindleyite | PL | GUN | WOTM | Image Review - Use it | Converse 18:48, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

yet anothe koschen. i understand some contributors are paid in wikipedia or are on their rolls. are there SOME contributors in uncyclopedia who are similarly paid by uncyclopedia (ok wikipedia maybe paying them -- possible)? nevertheless, if so, who are they? where are they? why are they? i need someone to help me build a template on a page i just finished, Jat. I am poor with code/html. i want a template like the one at the top of Johnny Foreigner's Guide to British Humour. That is, I want a template with a stop sign (preferably larger than the one in Johnny Foreigner) and the following contents next to it:
