This is what Wawan the Ancestor looked like, as mentioned in the Old Banjar manuscript.

Wawan the Ancestor was an explorer, sailor, and the first human to set foot on the island of Borneo, an island that was outdated because dinosaurs still lived and thrived there.

Wawan is identified as a direct descendant of Adam and Eve, and is a direct descendant of Noah, the Abrahamic patriarch. Wawan wandered to the island of Borneo and his wife with the intention of finding an interesting new land. He eventually landed in Borneo, and his descendants would later inherit his role in Borneo island. Wawan's lineage is not only limited to Borneo, but also spread abroad.

Early life[edit | edit source]

According to the chain of genealogical transmission, Wawan was the son of Abel, son of Silla, son of Nawus, son of Kilab, son of Hazjen, son of Cain, son of Juned, son of Arkhaezjan, son of Jumadi, son of Ham, son of Noah, son of Lamech, son of Methuselah, son of Enoch, son of Jared, son of Mahalaleel, son of Kenan, son of Enos, son of Seth, son of Adam. He was born around the same era as Eber, the ancestor of the Israelites and Ishmaelites. He initially worked for a King in ancient Iraq, but because the King ruled like Saddam Hussein and even worse than Saddam. The King built 13 statues of himself naked, Wawan criticized him but the King threw Wawan out and beat him.

It is said that Wawan really likes sea exploration, and dreams of exploring the ocean someday. He studies history, and finds out that his ancestor Noah was a shipbuilder.

Exploration[edit | edit source]

Wawan successfully completed his ship and armed with strong ideals and determination, he decided to explore the vast ocean to find a "new world". His young wife also joined him on this exploration. He explored the Maldives, visited Madagascar and India, as well as the islands of Southeast Asia.

On the ship, Wawan became the first person to successfully map the entire Indian Ocean and was now looking for an island to anchor and settle on. However, he did not find any island suitable for him because he did not like to disturb the lives of the natives, unlike the Europeans— ahem ahem ... basically this sailor loves peace. However, a blessing came to him on an island called BORNEOOO!!!! which at that time was ruled by dinosaurs and other ancient animals. Because he felt interested, he decided to land and build a place to live in Borneo.

Legacy[edit | edit source]

Wawan was the first modern human to set foot on Borneo, alongside ancient humans. Amidst the harsh conditions of the ancient Borneo forest, Wawan's descendants adapted well to the island. Among Wawan's descendants who interbred with other species gave birth to the Elf, Dwarf, Valkyrie, Harphy, and Dryard races who took their respective roles in maintaining this ancient island. As for Wawan's descendants who married supernatural beings, they then gave birth to the "Bunian people", half-ghost humans who formed the State of Saranjana, Municipality of Padang 12, and Kalap.

Wawan is generally considered to be the ancestor of the Bornean people. His existence is revered in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei in general. In the United States, recent research suggests that Barrack Obama, Donald Trump, Emperor Jokowi of Indonesia, Vladimir Putin, Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler may have Wawan as their lineage.
