@DaniPine3: Yo, can I get some help on this? how can I make this so that it can be repurposed anywhere, like a template that appears in front of the page and you have to click on the button to see the page? WPBS (talk) 17:10, 6 November 2024 (UTC)

@DaniPine3: I just had an idea, is there a template similar to PAGENAMEBASE, but instead of displaying the name of the page, it displays the content of the page? is it possible to create a template like that, because it uses the same principle as the PAGENAMEBASE template? WPBS (talk) 17:49, 6 November 2024 (UTC)

@Wikipedia Be Sucking: I don't get what you mean by a template that displays the content of the page, and I'm pretty surethat would create an infinite loop because the template itself would be part of the page too, thus the infinite loop. However, there is a way to do what you first said (a template that appears in front of the page and you have to click on the button to see the page); it's pretty much what I did in pages like trip or pornography. However, the coding for that is a tad complex and I wouldn't be able to explain you how it works. I could help you achieving that, though. DaniPine3 (talk) 07:56, 7 November 2024 (UTC)

@DaniPine3: yeah I guess people could just use this like how you did for trip, would you be able to do the button thing for me though? WPBS (talk) 13:46, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
@DaniPine3: I've moved all the text and stuff here Template:Legal Disclaimer to clean it up, so if you want to do the button thing, you should go there, now I just need to make it so that the previous page shows you how to use it
@Wikipedia Be Sucking: I still don't realy get what the legal disclaimer thing is though. The disclaimer in trip is there to avoid people getting seizurse, and the disclaimer in pornography is there for people that might not want/be able to see that kind of content; but I don't really get what your legal disclaimer is for. I'm pretty sure that it is already understood that the article you're putting the disclaimer in is satire, because everything else in this wiki is also satire. If we had to make people understand that the contents of an article is satire, we'd have to put it in every single one on Uncyclopedia. I'm pretty sure there are no legal concerns whatsoever. But well, I'll still do the button thingy, just to help you out. DaniPine3 (talk) 14:11, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
@DaniPine3: I was really planning on it being intended for articles, guides, and things like UnNews:Trump just won, so here's a special HowTo about dealing with the hard times that are coming, where some of the stuff more or less is kinda risky from a legal perspective (eg. promoting terrorism), it's basically to be 1000% sure that someone won't actually commit a crime and then the blame falls on uncyclopedia for not specifying it was a joke or satire. You'd be surprised with the amount of nutjobs believe shit they see online these days WPBS (talk) 21:58, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
@Wikipedia Be Sucking: I really doubt something like that would happen. First, because this isn't a very known wiki, which greatly lowers the chances of some idiot doing terrorism and then blaming it on Uncyclopedia. Second, I'm pretty sure this wiki is already protected by the very fact of it being a satire website, meaning that all articles here fall under the same legal disclamer -even if that isn't shown in any of the articles. Were that not the case, this website would have very likely taken down years ago. And third, you have to have a really boring life to want to start a legal lawsuit against a website that no one really knows about and makes no money, meaning that it would be really hard to get benefits out of said legal lawsuit..
