At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but I do recommend it, it can be quite enjoyable, and it's a good chance to let others take notice of your writing. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Tiger nose/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well. Commie Idol is still there. From what you posted on my talk page I thought it was gone! But if you haven't read it yet please read UN:HTBFANJS. And read the featured version of featured articles. Construction tag

If you put the construction tag {{construction}} on the top of an article you're starting such as Commie Idol then it usually won't get ICUed. Don't feel bad if your article gets deleted. That just means the admins like you and they don't want you to feel embarrassed when you go back to your article years later and think, "did I really write this crap"? Don't take it as discouragement but rather a nudge to put in a little more effort. Also, don't feel snubbed that no one's jumping at the chance to write your article for you. This is a wiki, yeah, but we get a lot of noobs who write stubs and leave, and we just don't have the energy or desire to turn them all into beautiful articles.
