Declaration of Lunar Ownership[edit source]
TangentSine now owns the moon. However, he will sell almost all lunar land, the only exception being the plots bordering the lunar equator. A "plot" is defined as a one longitudinal minute by one latitudinal minute area on the moon. At the equator, a "plot" is about a quarter of a square kilometer, but at the poles they are so small they're nearly worthless. The longitudinal coordinate that faced directly at the earth at January 1, 2018 at 00:00 UTC is defined as 0 degrees moon longitude, and the lunar equator is defined as 0 degrees moon latitude. The moon does not need a lunar date line - everyone on the moon will use UTC. Lunar plots are priced at 1000 USD per square kilometer, so an equatorial lunar plot would be about 250 USD, while one at the lunar North Pole would be mere cents. However, TangentSine does not want to get mere cents from a single lunar plot. So he made it so for every latitudinal minute north or south of the equator, there is one less plot between it and the next latitudinal minute further from the equator. This means that all lunar plots will have the same area. Therefore, all lunar plots will be sold at 250 USD. However, TangentSine has the final say over lunar land usage.

HotCat script[edit source]
Hey TangentSine, I noticed you ran a script earlier this week re-categorizing our Movies to Films. Can you explain why you did that? →L A B O R A T O R I E S 17:58 21 February 2019
