Hi there! I've already done some minor edits and stuff, But I seriously need help with templates and linking. Some of the stuff I've been doing is sort've messy, and I don't want to be going around typing stuff if somone is just going to come up behind me and clean it up.

But really, My main question right now is Templates(I think). The ones like the adopt-a-noob banner? Do you just type certain words into the {{text}} brackets? Is there a chart which gives these words?? Meh..I read all the help guides and I can't find anything I could understand that had anything to do with templates.

This is only my 4th day here and I'm bound to make mistakes and get confused, and maybe I'm just worrying too much. But if you know anything about making Templates/banners, could you please give me some light on the information, Or perhaps direct me to an article pertaing to templates on this site, I'd greatly apperciate it.

By the way, I don't know If i'm doing this right either. I'm guessing I sign my name at the bottom. Oh well,not as if the internets will a splode If I fudge up. --Soda 03:41, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

yeah, I think you just type certain words into the brackets. like, "I beat Zork", or "Contradictory_Userboxes", which makes
