At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Rosetta/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.
If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome! -- The Zombiebaron 22:35, January 26, 2012 (UTC)
REWELCOME![edit source]
Just a word to say stubs are very likely to get raped and thrown on the dead body pile. If you want to work on it again in say 3 or 4 days, just put the construction template on the article as described above. If not, there's no telling whats gonna happen to the poor stub :S Mattsnow 23:12, January 26, 2012 (UTC)
- I have gone ahead and placed the {{construction}} tag on your article for you. -- The Zombiebaron 23:14, January 26, 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you. But i will need more than 7 days...only now and then a bit, wehn i feel like it. - Well if that's how it is then delete it. Rosetta 23:25, January 26, 2012 (UTC)
- Every time you edit the page, the clock will reset and there will be another 7 days before it is considered for deletion. If you're going to need more time than that to complete the article, please consider moving it into your userspace. -- The Zombiebaron 23:41, January 26, 2012 (UTC)

Dork matter[edit source]
Hi Rosetta, your article on dork matter, is a good start. Its one of the few times I've noticed a promising article from a new user. I'd really encourage you to move it to your user space (if you don't know how, then I can show you). Zombies following a regular policy that recycles unedited stub articles as a lot of them never go anywhere and if it wasn't done, the website would be a sea of stubs.
I really encourage you to keep working on the article, and if you need any help or anything, ideas, suggestions, unhelpfull nonsense or a friendly punch in the face etc. feel free to ask me or any other user you like. --ShabiDOO 06:40, January 30, 2012 (UTC)
-- Thank you very much. But this is just not my way of working. Why, if you want users to start in user space then why don't you just have them start there automatically (because every article is a stub, in the beginning). Anyhow, i feel not comfortable with zombies being after me. I've got enough other trouble to care for. Rosetta 18:31, February 6, 2012 (UTC)
