At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Mostly Zen/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.
If you want to write and don't know where to begin, browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome!

Credit Crunch[edit source]
Hi Zen,
I glimpsed into the Credit Crunch article and I found it quite funny on first sight, however I am a little pressed for time at the moment since I am preparing for a trip. If the thing is still hot in two weeks I will take a closer look, unless the world has disappeared in a horrible financial void until then. Anyway, I am a German and English is my second language only, so I cannot give you any particulars about differences between AE and BE, but I believe the term credit crunch is used worldwide. Cheers. Here's my stub of a review[edit source]
- Hi, I read through the article - not going to give a full review as you'd want it to be good. I can give a couple of opinions, strictly according to my taste, nothing wider:
- calendar bit too long in my opinion. I would have gone into a different direction at some point, messing it up somehow. Probably most think it's OK as it is now. If you divide it further into sections with sub-headers - why not try this: Take one section, make it pretty sober, then another one, totally over the hill, third one, trying to batch up what the second one smashed, fourth one, capitulating. This could be used in several contexts, resembles the "rule of three" -idea.
- a section with specialists giving views would fit in nicely. One of them could be morose, another enthusiastic, something like that.
- Maybe some historical comparison, point by point, to lead the reader into believing things always go like this? Might be an idea?
- The Mordor/cat image is what I call "straight from the heart". No improvement possible there.
Some good stuff in the article but not many actual laughs. Far better at that than most of my own articles though. -- Style Guide 19:44, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Credit Crunch[edit source]
I will say this, you've done an amazing job rewriting it. Looks great to me as it is. :) - Admiral Enzo Aquarius-Dial the Gate 20:01, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
