Mattsnow 16:27, October 24, 2011 (UTC) - Well, for one thing, you should leave messages in the "discussion" section of a person's userspace. For exemple, well, this is your "discussion" section right here. When you click on a user signature, there's a good chance you'll wind up on their user page. To go on their discussion page, simply click the "discussion" word in the upper left of the screen and leave a message at the bottom of the page that hopefully doesn't contain death treats lol. Additionnally, a lot of people with fancy signatures have a direct link to their discussion page (or "talk page) on their signatures (or "sigs"). For my signature, clicking on the snowflake will do just that. Don't be afraid to ask me everything you'd want to know, there are no idiotic questions, I was myself very lost when I joined 5 months ago! I log in daily, so you can be sure I'll answer your message quite fast. :D Mattsnow 17:15, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
- Quite simple really for the signature: you just go and ask Lollipop. He is the guy who made mine and about half of those you see around the site.If it was not for him, my signature would be just like yours. I myself don't know how to do it, and I am sure he'll be happy to help. As for the picture thing, do you mean inserting text under a pic or just a frame? Here are two exemples, you can always go on the edit screen anywhere you want to see how people got the result you see on the article, as long as you don't press the "Save" button, it won't change anything on the article. The ???px in the code determines the size the pic will have, but you can't go over a certain limit depending on the pic. Feel free to ask if you stumble on another problem, I'll be happy to help! So go on the edit screen to see how I did it for the 2 following pics. You'll see the difference right away. (The edit button is in the upper right.)
