Hello deathlist fans. L, this is my only concern for when you get this temporary admin thing, that you will huff lots and lots of things. Pics and templates and most of my articles, and you will laugh and laugh and hide much of what you've huffed. Your list here is large and has been large, yet hidden most of the time, and even when it's not it's not really seeable unless you click on link after link - better to put the pics on the page. I took the time a few days ago and didn't disagree with your choices, but once the power wand is given, gulp, I fear for our pictures, I tremble for the pics. Please reassure me somehow, any little crumb will probably do. Thanks. Aleister 18:04 1-3-'11

P.S. hMMMMMMM. Very fearful now, and trembling with the fright. I just checked your present list and disagree with huffing almost all of them. You've got some very very good pics in there, some I just categorized yesterday or so. Maybe this has been going on for a year, I don't know. Hiding now. And concerned, Al
This has nothing to do with the temporary admin thing, believe me, and my discrimination would not change by who is pressing the buttons. I'm just going through the unused images and listing what seem to be the worse ones, and likewise the qvfded templates were likewise unused ones with no apparent purpose, and I did make a point to look to see if it was something more hidden. Listing the images as images instead of links would, however, defeat the point of the list, as the batch deletion script takes lists, not thumbs.
The present list, you mean the three there now? Jabba da butt, a poorly framed pixellated text, and a duplicate file? Or before? Perhaps I could be a little less... picky, though. Hmm... 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 18:28, 1 March 2011
P.S. - 'the list' is something else entirely, don't worry.
No, I just removed about 8 great pics that you had on your deathlist. Money and cats and lots of things. I may even use that clock one on my Rolex page. There are so many unused images I would huff, but those seem much more obvious, like stupid cartoon things and all. And what happens to our gifs and moving objects when you get the power? Fear. Tremble. Slight topic shift. I don't know if you've looked at the Above Top Secret website (there's s suspicious name there I've seen somewhere before) but it's horrendous when it comes to moving ads, and now they've added SOUND ads, people start talking out of nowhere about laundry detergent and stuff. And they have ads within the threads themselves, you go down reading and every sixth comment a so an ad is put in the middle. Are people literally crazy who own sites like that, who subject their users to such insults? Rant over. Aleister 18:34 1-3-'11
Okay, now I'm just inclined to question your taste. At any rate, the money was watermarked, and the cats were duplicates or too small to be of much use. If someone wants to use such small ones, they can upload a bigger one themselves. For that matter, there are too many captioned images as it is and they have very limited use. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 18:43, 1 March 2011

I'm checking this random batch - and why not show the pics and leave them there for a few days - and there are some good ones again, which makes me think how much has been lost. I don't know what you are doing, or why you are getting away with it. Where are the old admins when they're needed? Help, help somebodybvonofojdfdok)pillow over face, can't breath( glopple. Aleister 18:54

p.s. God doo mit, I come to write this note and when I went to save the good ones they are huffed already. Please bring those back so I can pick amongst the chaff.
I'm sorry. I... there were reasons. There were definitely reasons. But I brought back two. Is that better? 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 18:09, 6 March 2011
Please don't say sorry. Remember the immortal words of Gibbs. The ones I remember faintly from the last screaming batch that were killed without mercy were a good one of a large house, a weird freaky one that I can't describe (which probably means I liked it), and the flag. Lots of flags in Category:Flag Images which now need an armed guard. I know you have huffed hundreds more, and I can only imagine what lies under the newly-turned cyber-dirt of Potter's field. Sad, can't go on, must leave the site now never to return (isn't that a trick some jerk users play?), for at least a few minutes, then to return. Aleister 18:18 6-3-'11
The house is small, but okay... did the creepy one look kind of like this? Because we have quite a few of those as it is, though most of them ain't categorised. Flags... if they're jpegs, I'm deleting them. Drawing a line, here. Saving flags as jpegs is idiotic; they're simple designs which when scaled go horribly artefacted. In fact, they're precisely the sort of thing the png and svg formats were designed for. So Grrr! 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 18:34, 6 March 2011

Okay, added a new pile. Could you just... cross them out if you disagree? That way we can properly argue about them. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 18:43, 6 March 2011

I'll look. And Nah, another creepy one, but that's a good creepy one. House, good, good houses (I've searched a couple of time for images of nice houses). The flags, i know nothing about pegs and pngs and those things, so I can't discuss those with you on the merits and must bid the flags adeau as they leave. I don't know what to say about all of this, you are doing a service to the site, and hopefully you can save more of the good, the weird, and the "pretty cool" in the future. Gumble grumble frackacumber. Aleister 18:43 6-3-'11

Fat one being sprayed, lol, I'll put it on a fat page after writing this. The midget with the bottle is funny, the church sign, those for sure. See, in every batch there are good ones (in someone's opinion). So there were probably lots in the hundreds you've killed. Sadness. Why not just huff the worse of the worse (size, watermarks, those jpeg things, etc.) and if one of even borderline let it live, just let it live!!!! They were so young! Aleister 18:50 6-3-'11

p.s. I put the fat guy being sprayed on Obesity and it fit purr-fect-ly under the section title. Go look, it lives! It lives!
Captions hard-coded onto the images limit the usability of the things, so I'm harder on anything with those... since the entire point of thumbs is to write our own captions, here. But if it has a use, fine, fine. The bottle, though, the image quality is terrible! Massive lossy compression; surely we can do better.
As for the church sign, that was generated on a website for generating such things. Here - [1] - that's the design exactly; one can make it say whatever they want, so why should we keep them if they're not being used? Hmm? 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 19:11, 6 March 2011

Alright, alright, alright... the bottle stays. And the fat guy, obviously, but I'm chucking the rest. And I'll try to be... more discerning. Maybe. Still, it is a good thing you're caring. It is. It's just annoying. *shifty eyes* But good. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 22:10, 6 March 2011

WTFFFF[edit source]

Why is drunk swimmer on there? It's used in several places. And are you adding new deletions? I thought you were going to let Special Pages Unused pictures build up again. Where did all these new ones come from?????????? Aleister 23:18 21-3-'11

Er, what I said over there. 1234 ~ 16px-Pointy.png 04:12, 22 March 2011
