Welcome![edit source]
Here are some links to see if you have the time:
- Beginner's Guide
- Our Vanity Policies - why we don't care about your friends
- How to be funny and not just stupid
There are more of them, but those three are the most important.
Uncyclopedia is a community wiki, which means anyone can edit it. Once you read those three links above, you could get to work on your first articles. It's best to start by creating them in your userspace, for example: User:Labenian27/Insert Title Here. Please remember to follow the guidelines and don't be upset if your article gets deleted. If you are writing an article in mainspace, however, and you are not finished yet, put a {{construction}} template on it.
When on talkpages, please sign your name using the signature button. Or you could type in four tidles (~~~~).
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Or, if you're really confused, drop into "adopt a noob" and you'll get adopted by one of these fine fellows. If you want anybody blocked or anything deleted, you could post it on QVFD or tell an admin (blanking the page dosen't delete it).
Have fun, and don't be under pressure, because we're all friends here.

Recreating deleted content[edit source]
Don't do it, you'll get banned. Also, Chuck Norris? Really? -- Lollipop - 02:10, 9 August 2011
I like how you say to not be under pressure, yet your articles may be flagged and deleted with the authority of seemingly one person. If a consensus of any sort existed for deletion, that would be ok, but it seems to me that if people are browsing about and find article they don't like they can just get rid of it. One person shouldn't have such power, that is lame and just dumb. The traits that you seem to judge your articles are on based completely on your opinion alone. I've seen articles that have references as people being falsely accused of being gay, or just consist of slurs that can only be considered funny by people who are called the same things on a regular basis and are overjoyed to see it happening to someone else. If you think that disgusting stuff like that is really any more funny than my lame article, then I question your opinion and judgment ability on these articles. The beauty of this site is that if you find a page you don't like, you can simply go to another random one. Instead of criticizing other people's stuff and wasting their time and yours, I suggest you take the half a second it takes to find another article. And if you can't handle that, don't bother deleting my article...I'll just leave. thanks.
- Anyone can flag something, but only an admin can delete something. And unfortunately, Chuck Norris jokes have been beaten to death about a dozen times over; so just about anything referencing him is sure to be deleted. Sorry if all this seems a bit harsh, but this wiki has grown to a disproportionate size. The vast majority of us do not find slurs or bashing funny, it's just that a lack of quality control over the years has caused a lot of crap to go unchecked. We are taking measures to fix it, but these things take time--especially when dealing with over 30,000 articles. Of course, you are free to leave, I just think it would be a shame to see you go because of a misunderstanding. ^_^ -- 08:44 August 9, 2011 (UTC)
Well I guess I understand that.
- I feel a bit bad for being a bit harsh. It also states in the welcome message that it is best to start articles in your userspace. Try that, if you need help give me a ring. Cheers. -- Lollipop - 18:04, 9 August 2011
Don't Bro, no worries.
