"The mad turk"[edit source]

Any particular reason you're spamming this all over a bunch of pages? -- Sir Codeine K·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 14:05, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

  • Persons who have been referred to as "The Mad Turk" by their associates/enemies have been identified as such. For example, Sean Connery was referred to as "The Mad Turk" in Codices II, V and VI of the Nag Hammadi library, while Ronald Reagan was referred to as such by Shirley Temple on the set of "The Littlest Hollow Earth Explorer" between her drug binges and bouts of inhuman emotion (which, ironically enough, resulted in Reagan's heavy, extensive scarring which cemented the perception of him as "The Mad Turk" in the minds and hearts of the rabble). Further information may be obtained in "Zagat's Guide To Urethra Inversion Clinics", 2003 Edition (WorldNetDaily Publishing). --Jre 08:21, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
Uh-huh. So you're saying it's just patent nonsense which doesn't necessarily relate to the articles in question or make them funnier, and I can go ahead and remove it then. Cool. Thanks. -- Sir Codeine K·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 09:23, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
  • I promise to be more serious when contributing to uncyclopedia in the future. I apologise. Thank you for setting me straight. --Jre 17:45, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
It's not about "being serious", it's about being funny. You can write whatever you like, so long as it makes people laugh. Take a look at the contents of the Beginner's Guide and the ever-useful How to be funny and not just stupid to get an idea of what we're looking for. I'm not trying to criticise you, or put you off writing here in the least, but you have to understand that we deal with a lot of rubbish one-line additions on a daily basis, most of which don't do anything to enhance the quality of Uncyclopedia. As a suggestion, why not create a witty article about The Mad Turk, (as it's obviously something you like the concept of) and then link to it from the other pages? -- Sir Codeine K·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 17:57, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
