At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Jishanpeter/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

Your articles

Heya, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but could you please stop creating articles with no content or that consist entirely of one word or numbers? These weren't terribly funny in the first place, and adding more just makes them all less funny. This goes for gimmicks such as self-redirecting pages and loop-redirects as well - they're meaningless to the average reader, and also tend to mess up maintenance. So kindly don't do it. I came here to say exactly what Lyrithya said above me. Seeing as she's already said it, and you seem to have no given it any notice, I've banned you for a day so you can calm the fuck down and read some of our ignorable policies, and perhaps have a nice sherry or a cup of tea, while you watch other people doing it right. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but we're not just going to let you keep making shite articles with no substance. So hopefully when you get back, you can get to writing...I dunno...real stuff.
